What is TrajectIt?
TrajectIt is a web app for tracking anything that moves through several steps, like job applications, grant bids or research papers. Each item sits in a stage you define, and a flow view shows where everything stands.
What can I track with it?
Anything with more than one step. Job hunts, funding applications, paper submissions, client leads and similar processes all work, because you name the stages and choose the colours yourself.
Can I customise the stages?
Yes. Every tracker has its own statuses, which you can rename, recolour and reorder. Each one is either a stage or an outcome, and an outcome is marked as successful, unsuccessful or neutral.
Can I add notes, files and reminders to an item?
Yes. Each item can hold notes and follow-up actions, and you can get reminder emails for the actions that are due. File fields are part of Pro.
Can I share a tracker with other people?
Yes, with Pro. You can invite people to a tracker, or switch on a public read-only link. Public links are not listed in search engines.
Is TrajectIt free?
Free gives you 2 trackers with 5 fields each. Pro is coming soon. It removes those limits and adds sharing, file fields, Analytics, a calendar link and Valet.
What is Valet?
Valet is part of Pro. Forward an email about an item to your private address and Valet suggests the stage, actions, fields and notes to add. You accept, edit or dismiss each suggestion.
What happens if I go back to Free?
You keep every tracker, item and file, and can still edit them. You just can't create new trackers or add fields past the Free limits, and file fields take no new uploads.
What happens to my data if I delete my account?
Deleting your account deletes your trackers, items, notes and uploaded files. The privacy policy explains what we keep and for how long.
